I would like to recommend a weight-loss group that I have been going to for the last six months. They are called MedFit Medical Weight Loss and are located in the Stapleton area in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Angela Tran is the doctor and she is so positive, sincere and dedicated to helping people make changes in their lifestyle and become healthy. I had been to at least six other places in the Denver area over the last 20 years, have done Keto, Paleo, HCG, etc., and nothing worked or I would lose the weight only to gain it back. Dr. Tran and her staff really look into your mind set and how to create lasting changes, as well as how to eat and exercise to reach your goals. This group of women are exceptional!! They are all positive, active people that enjoy helping others reach their goals and they support your journey every step of the way with coaching, fitness training and friendship. Their program also includes a transition and maintenance phase to make sure you understand how to keep the weight off. I have lost 41 lbs. and gained muscle and am able to do so much more than I could before and my mental attitude has changed - I'm more motivated and I put my workouts first. I know now that I can be active and healthy as I get older. Thank you to everyone at MedFit for all your support!!!

When I decided to start this journey I was 210 lbs. that was on Jan 23, 2019 today is June 12, 2019 and I am at 170 lbs and still loosing. The people at Med-fit are great, they help you throw your journey with your up and your downs. If it weren't for them I don"t think I would have made it. It has been wonderful working with the lady's at Med-fit. I would do it all over again if I needed to. I have learned a lot for Med-Fit.

After learning about Med-Fit from a coworker and sitting on it for a couple of months, I went in for a consultation to see if their services were something I could use to truly get going on my weight loss goals. Feeling overwhelmed with figuring out where to start and weighing 245 lbs. (more than I had ever weighed before), I chose to sign up for a 12 week group class session. I am very glad I did and it was worth the cost. Each Thursday evening after work I drove over to Med-Fit to meet with others in a small group setting with a kind, intelligent, honest, nonjudgmental leader who is a Registered Dietician, Nutritionist and Personal Trainer. Each week we received new information to build our knowledge about a variety of topics. The program focused on detailed topics such as healthful eating to both lose and maintain weight, why drinking enough water matters, recognition of our own motivating reasons to lose weight, understanding how to deal with our individual internal and external challenges in the process, and how exercise fits into the process. Focusing on one main topic each week made it all more manageable. Janelle answered all of our questions in a low-pressure setting. We received a week's worth of nutritionally and medically sound weight loss food products to supplement our meal intake each week as well, which really helped jump start weight loss in a safe way. I was not used to consuming three meals plus three snacks each day, but now I know I feel better and have more sustainable energy through the day and am less likely to over-eat when I do. The convenience in using the products to get me started was helpful for me even though I was skeptical at first about doing so. The all around emotional support and encouragement was one the important factors about the group setting that leads to recommend it. I don't think I would have made it this far on my own. We could share as much or as little as we cared to in the group setting. The accountability of showing up each week mattered to me. The information received over the twelve weeks has helped me see a healthier way of eating that focuses on lean protein and vegetables while I am still actively trying to lose weight. I'm several weeks out from the end of my 12-week class and I am still motivated to keep losing weight on my own by building healthier life habits. I weigh 218 lbs. today. I'm not perfect and I have some days in which I consume more calories than I should, but I have the tools to get right back on track when I don't make the better food choices thanks to everything I took home from this supportive learning experience. I have several more pounds I plan to lose and I am more confident now that I can keep moving forward in this process.

I feel the ladies here did an excellent job. They changed my outlook on life and help to guide me in the right direction for lasting change. They taught me how important weight loss was not only for my upcoming knee surgery, but also for my overall health. My sister didn't even recognize me at a wedding! I would recommend to everyone that is seeking weight loss help to come here.

This is the perfect place for busy people who want to lose weight! I am a working mother of 2 young kids and wanted to see results to keep me motivated. I liked that I had the products for on the go and didn’t have to spend my life meal prepping. Weighing in and meeting with Jessica kept me accountable each week. If you have been struggling to hold your self accountable and need some extra motivation to get you moving on your weight loss journey, make your way into MedFit Denver! The support they offer is absolutely incredible and you can tell that they care a lot about you. I am about 30 lbs down so far, and am starting to feel really good about where I am, where I have been, and where I am headed. The weekly check ins with Kelly have been instrumental in keeping me in the zone and focused. This program and the staff at Medfit have changed my life. I have lost 62 pounds in four months. During this time I have kept up with my hectic work and family schedule; traveled for business five times; and navigated both the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays. The program is incredibly easy to follow and the support I have received is incredible. For the first time in my adult life I am not dreading shorts and t-shirts weather. Dr. Tran and Kelli have been there every step of the way, cheering me on and providing the knowledge and support I need to get to my goal.

Janelle is an effective and supportive group leader who provides very helpful nutritional counseling and pragmatic dietary strategies, combined with insights from her own personal experience.
